Enforcement Actions: Body-Building
FDA has identified certain tainted products that are being marketed for body building and that contain steroids or illegal steroid-like substances. Many of these rogue products make illegal claims about their ingredients and may be promoted as hormone products and/or as alternatives to anabolic steroids. Consumers should be aware that such products are potentially harmful and that FDA has not approved them nor reviewed their safety before marketing. Below is a list of actions taken by FDA against such products. |
